"I was stationed in Fort Camden for annual training with the FCA. I was from Cork but there were fellas here from the Dublin, Waterford and Limerick units. Along with that the Slua were here. We'd march in our full kit to Templebready.
Also entrance was at bus stop and if it was a fine day we'd bring out the Guns to where the car park is & we'd strip them there. The Officer in Charge would show us how to strip them & then build it. Then 2 or 3 fellas would strip and build Guns."
