Title
Noel Roche
Description
"I was stationed in Fort Camden during the years 1966, 1967 / 1968 for 2 weeks during the summers. We'd spend Wednesday nights in Collins' Barracks doing Practicals. We'd go on manoeuvres and stay in the billets here.
I remember coming back early one time & in the Canteen someone was strirring a barrell of tea with the ? It was called the Refractory then, the Dining Hall.
My boots were hurting me; they had high heels and skinned my ankles. I remember being given out to, by the Officer and queuing up for pay. It was being given out by the Captain of the FCA."
